DREAMZZZZ....

Ward, William Arthur

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you've imagined. As you make things easier in your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler as your dreams are limited to your potential.

Planning starting a small business at one's own.......

Dreams alone never come true. Plan your dreams and act.

Whether you are starting or growing a small business, a sound business plan is your roadmap to success. Regrettably, many entrepreneurs rely on their memory and never actually commit their ideas to paper. Even if they do consider writing a starting a small business plan, they are often overwhelmed or confused by the planning process and never understand the value of this critical document. As a result, many small business dreams fail or fall short of their actual potential. As much as 90% of plans are never put on paper. Shocking! Isnt it Hence, never accomplishing their road to success.

Writing a business plan will force you to objectively develop and estimate your tactical and strategic plans. It will also help you categorize the opportunities and risks encountered as a result of your decisions. You will better understand the environment in which you operate the strengths and weaknesses of your business, the competition, and the might of your assumptions. Most prominently, you will recognize who your customers are and how you can meet or exceed their needs and expectations.

Setting your strategy rite..

Stay in touch with the outer world...the only thing that helps you evaluate yourself. Update your knowledge base regularly with time and changes occurring in the business environment so that your business doesnt suffer or miss good opportunities to expand due to lack of entrepreneurial skills and knowledge.

Learn as much as you can about your business sector as well as the parallel business. Never neglect the activities of your competitor groups following similar business modals as they may be into superior business practices. Keeping a watch on them will never turn you out of the competition. Neither misjudge your ranking nor underestimates your competitors.

One of the biggest challenges you will face during the first two years will spin around cash flow and money management.

So, here are a few low or no- cost tips that will help you keep moving but definitely at a better pace

Take the low cost way:

Truth is most marketing does take money, but there are some low-cost and no-cost options that you can put into action that will help you to get the word out about your products and service. While these ideas will not cost you a lot of money they will cost you time, so prepare for that.

Regular but golden conduct requirements

Go to Business meetings, and other organizational meets that will help you gather business cards. Get as many as you can and then initiate phone calls and emails to follow up. Do this immediately while you are still fresh in their mind. If they cannot use your services, ask them if they know of someone who can obtain their contact information. Build a list of people you go along with on a day to day basis. Keep adding your list

Attend public meetings. At every public meeting, make a promise to say something that could be useful to those that are attending. This is a great way to not only share you knowledge and help others, but it also puts you in the eye of those who could use your services.

Make useful newsletter. A newsletter or a handout that when given to a recipient they keep because it has value. Make sure that you include your contact information and your business information.

Create joint-ventures. Find colleagues and business associates whose business compliments yours and do joint promotions. For example I do joint-ventures with a copywriter and graphic designer. Who could you partner with

Write letters to editors of local newspapers and business publications. Make them interesting and remarkable. You'll be surprised at how often a good letter will get printed. Do not forget to include your contact information starting a small business and website address.

Things to do Sit down and write out a list of things that you see that youd like to change. This can be a list of effects you can do in a different way to limit the time you pay out on your business.

Time logging Buy a note pad or create a database that you can use to register the time you spend on your business each day. Spend time studying the nature and possibilities of your business. Manage the time you spend on your business on a regular basis. Be consistent and keep your optimism level on the higher grounds.

Take a break If you get to the end of the week and your time monitor has you in shock; its time to take a break. If you normally work during the weekend, make it a point to get this weekend off. Shut down your email, turn off the ringer on your phone and shut the door to your workplace. Youll be surprised at how revitalizing this will be.

Use this time off to reconsider how you need to be spending your time. Try to plan out when you can work on your business without losing out on time with your children. If your children are in school, make it a point to stop working when they get home. If your kids are still small, maybe you can limit work hours; if possible, have a grandparent watch them once or twice a week to let you a bit more work time.
